We love a classic June wedding! Atlanta couple Jenn and Chris travelled to Charlotte (Jenn's hometown) for a gorgeous summer wedding full of vibrant greens and pinks, anchored by a sultry brown. Thanks to Critsey at Indigo Photography for the fabulous shots!
Jenn poses before their ceremony at Calvary Church.
Jenn's maids complimented, but did not detract from her gown. It was the flowers that they carried that really popped!
A close up of the bouquets. We just love Shelly at Elizabeth House Flowers! The bride carried white calla lillies, while her attendants carried a mix of purple peonies, green cymbidium orchids, mango callas and roses.
Pre-Ceremony, the guys were not about to be show up by the ladies. They look ready for a magazine shoot!
Cocktail hour brought in a lounge theme with sofas, coffee tables and tall cocktail tables topped with the green orchids and lit with candles.
Orchids also framed the base of this gorgeous (and delicious) cake made with not one, but two layers of fondant. Check out how the green shows through the cut out floral detail of the top layer. Without Cake Lady Jill, what would we do?
Melody at Harper Catering took a photo of a strawberry tree we sent and made it happen here! Add that to the ice display at the sushi and seafood station, and we have a party!
Jenn and Chris kept it casual and did not assign tables. The bridal party and family had designated front row seats.
The band, In the Pocket, really made the party and brought the guys on stage to serenade the girls.
The night ended with a petal toss and limousine getaway on Tryon Street.
