Melissa and Les - Springtime in the South!

Melissa and Les were married May 10, 2008! Mel is a Charlotte native who works at Wachovia and Les is a SC native who works for Behr Paint. Their ceremony was performed by Rebecca Nagy at Belk Chapel and combined both Christian, Jewish and Native American traditions. Check out the beautiful pale pink peonies, taupe bridemaid dresses and chocolate colored accents -all photographed by the talented Jonathan McCardell!

The bride blushed the same shade of pink as her peony and orchid bouquet from Crawford & Company. Her maids wore taupe dresses by Bill Levkoff, while the bride herself donned a gorgeous draped dress by Judd Waddell from Nitsa's.

Providence Country Club 's staff, led by the incomparable Dee Wood, made sure the bride, groom, and all their guests were treated famously! The modern centerpieces by Todd Crawford & Co were cubes wrapped in banana leaves, with clusters of different pink and white flowers.

Tizzerts provided the four tiered cake, decorated with delicate pink vines was accented with a single peony on top and set . The gorgeous cake plateau, pink linens and bridemaids bouqets provided the perfect pedestal for this tasty work of art!

One of the adorable flower girls signs the engagement portrait of Mel and Les, as she holds her prized peony. The Ringbearer in background holds the favor - a mini take out box with customized label - filled with minty delights!
Thanks for letting Soiree Charlotte be part of the day! Your wedding makes us smile with pride each time we reflect upon the beauty of your marriage and of your wedding day itself!

Tim and Tamra Build a Family on Love!

Tim and Tamra are celebrating the arrival of their baby girl Addison this month. It is the perfect time to reflect on their wedding last July!

An intimate family wedding on the golf course was the perfect way for Tim and Tamra to start their lives together! The couple exchanged vows in the serene setting of Rocky River Golf Club near their house in Concord. They were joined by Tamra's daughter, who is the apple of Tim's eye! Their wedding reflected their commitment to each other and recognized joining of not only two, but the three of them as a family. The wonderful pictures are courtesy of Pamela Blankenship Photography. She even won awards for her photography skills used capturing Tim and Tam's wedding!

Thanks to The Village Blossom for the classic red and white roses that adorned both the guys and girls in the wedding party.

The couple was married on the golf course, with a weeping willow and serene pond as the backdrop. The girls wore classic red satin dresses, while the jr bridesmaids (including Tamra's daughter) wore pure white gowns with red sashes, reflecting the design of both the bride and her adult attendants.

A family friend created the classic round three tiered cake, accented by white and red roses, a miniature version of the bride's bouquet. Red petals created contrast and depth between the white table and white cake.

DJ Chuck Broncato kept the music spinning until it was time for the after party at Embassy Suites. Tim and Tam took a mini honeymoon at the beach, then vacationed in Hawaii a few months later to celebrate their union!

Tim and Tam made us cry at their heart-felt wedding, and now more tears of joy are shed as we celebrate the growth of this beautiful family!
