Every girl dreams of having a festive party where everyone walks in to the room, says "wow", then stays on the dance floor all night! At Sara's Bat Mitzvah, her guests did just that. Soiree Charlotte was lucky enough to be hired to do the decor for the party. We had fun with the Carnival theme, and made sure to set the mood so every guest from age 13-83 knew it was time to have fun! Thanks to Steve Comen for the fantastic photos (we are hoping to get the official party pics from Wayne St. John too)!

Each of Sara's guests were greeted with a gourmet lollipop as an escort/table card. Keeping with the Carnival theme - teens were "General Admission" and the adults were assigned to tables such as "Hall of Mirrors", "Cotton Candy" and "Tilt-A-Whirl."

Working off a magazine ad Sara's mom provided, we worked with Crawford & Co Florist to create three different types of centerpieces to grace the tables. Gerber daisies in hot pink and orange, bright green kermit mums, and moss were shaped around cones, balls and tall cylinders to create a whimsical feel. The tables themselves had hot pink or orange tablecloths with a geometric sheer overlay. The look was completed with hot pink or orange chair ties and lime napkins. Three balls of gerbera daisies also hung from the center ballroom chandalier.

Personalized napkins were available for drinks. They coordinated with the matchbooks provided for each adult guest, so they could join in the candlelighting ceremony. Teens had small LED candles at their tables, so they could be a part of the candlelighting ceremony as well.

A parting shot of the custom made awnings that made the buffets look more like carnival booths. 25 foot swags of color were hung to make guests feel as if they had entered a tent. Ottomans were covered with custom fabric matching the napkins, ceiling swag and awnings.
We had a blast creating the atmosphere for Sara's Bat Mitzvah and know the guest enjoyed the party! Thanks again to Sara's family for asking Soiree Charlotte to be a part of the fun!
